The book, organized by Toni Jochem, “1829 – São Pedro de Alcântara – Pages of its history” in 02 volumes, 38 authors, 56 articles and almost 1,000 pages, has the participation of Alfredense Juliano Norberto Wagner.
After almost two years of hard work (really hard, literally; late at night, holidays and weekends) … whew! I announce, with great satisfaction, the launch of the book “1829 – São Pedro de Alcântara – Pages of its History”.
Many merits… Thanks to everyone who contributed and, especially to the friend Daniel Silveira, with whom I had the pleasure of sharing the coordination work; I also thank the Municipality of São Pedro de Alcântara through Mayor Ernei José Stahelin for the brilliant initiative, worthy of praise and applause. History and culture are also made and stimulated with books, I believe!
I’m thankful! There are almost 1,000 pages, 38 authors (from different states in Brazil and Germany – to which I am very grateful) and 56 articles in two volumes of history in odd, multiple, plural versions… It will be a significant contribution to the history of German immigration in São Pedro Alcântara, in Santa Catarina and in Brazil.
Launch: December 3, 2020, Thursday, at 3 pm, at the Teatrinho da Igreja Matriz, in São Pedro de Alcântara-SC . Remember: The use of a mask will be required during the event as well as preventive measures to COVID-19.
