Angelina, quietly, without fanfare, the friendly headquarters of the National Colony, named in honor of Mr. Angelo (Councilor of D. Pedro II), is making history in Brazilian public health, in the middle of a pandemic. The municipality of Greater Florianópolis is undefeated in Covid-19 deaths, ‘zero’. In the Epidemiological Bulletin 25/01, the city of the Franciscan Sisters presents three positive cases and four suspected of being infected by the coronavirus. Along with Rancho Queimado (two deaths) and Anitápolis, (one death) it is a beautiful and safe walk for families who are hanging around the coast, in times of rainy and pointed days. Santa Catarina, blessed land, where Luso-Brazilians and European immigrants settled and got together to build a state that is a model for the country. Proud to be from Santa Catarina.
