Concerned about the multiple impacts of the pandemic on health,  Zenklub , the largest platform for emotional health and personal development in the country, launches this Monday, August 16, a campaign to encourage vaccination against Covid-19 and care for mental health. In the #vacinaeterapiaemdia action, healthtech will offer the first online therapy session on its platform for people who receive two doses of the vaccine or a single dose against Covid-19.

The initiative took into account the importance of the role of immunization in protecting everyone, but also the consequences of social isolation, grief and other challenges of the pandemic on mental health. According to a survey carried out by the Ipsos Institute, commissioned by the World Economic Forum, more than half of Brazilians (53%) said that their emotional and mental health has deteriorated since the beginning of the pandemic, an index that surpasses the average of 30 countries and territories surveyed .

For Rui Brandão, co-founder and CEO of Zenklub, vaccination is the first step towards controlling the pandemic, but there is concern about the legacy that this period will leave us. “Recent studies already point to a 4th wave, an invisible epidemic of mental and emotional problems that are the result of or were aggravated during the crisis caused by the coronavirus. For this reason, people and companies urgently need to look at mental health and this is our mission with the campaign”, he highlighted.
