Comscore Announces Purchase of Shareablee, Leading Technology and Social Media Provider
Both companies’ combined commercial offering will provide media companies, agencies and advertisers with unparalleled insight into consumer engagement and reach across different digital platforms
Sao Paulo, December 20, 2021 – Comscore (NASDAQ: SCOR) announced the acquisition of Shareablee, a leading marketing measurement and analysis company in the social media industry. With this transaction, completed on December 16, 2021, Comscore plans to expand its MMX® and Video Metrix® products to include Shareablee video and social media data for insight generation, which will close the current gap in the services industry traditional digital and social measurement.
The combined information from Comscore and Shareablee audiences will provide media companies, brands and advertisers with an unparalleled understanding of consumer engagement and reach across multiple platforms. Integration plans are for Comscore’s digital products to benefit from this data, allowing customers to expand their digital vision into products like Video Metrix with advanced social video insights, and Shareablee customers to have additional benefits with select views of digital information from Comscore embedded in the dashboards. Comscore plans to retain the Shareablee team after the announcement, with key members of the Shareablee management, including Tania Yuki, Greg Dale and Jonathan Lieberman, remaining in leadership positions.
Shareablee, media measurement partner, provides analytics and intelligence for many of the world’s largest brands, media groups and agencies, including Mondelez, GroupM, ESPN, NBC Universal and Vox Media. We see many opportunities to help our customers increase their audience and maximize their impact through the use of social platforms,” he adds.
