With the classic “O Milagre das Águas”, the Alfredo Wagner Online newspaper invites you to pray on this day dedicated to the Patroness of Brazil. The film directed by  Fr. Ronoaldo Pelaquin, tells the story of  Nossa Senhora Aparecida through the story between a paraplegic gentleman, José, and his son, João: 

In 1904, a paraplegic gentleman, as a result of an accident, is taken by his son João, from place to place, in a wheelchair. Upon learning that his father was from the land of Santa, the boy wants to undertake a long journey at all costs, bound for Aparecida do Norte. Unwillingly, because he no longer had faith, Father José, as the old man is called by the boy, consents to the journey; and on the way, she tells the story of the Saint born in the waters.
