With tractors that offer technologies for Family Farming, LS Tractor participates in Expointer 2024
Company presents its entire portfolio at the fair
LS Tractor, a South Korean brand of agricultural tractors with over ten years in the Brazilian market, has stood out as an essential partner for family farmers, offering modern technological solutions developed to meet the different needs of this segment. With the largest portfolio of tractors designed to optimize production on small and medium-sized properties, the company is committed to supporting sustainable development and efficiency in food production. Recognized for their technology and with complete transmissions, LS tractors offer excellent fuel economy in different operations, ease of operation and low maintenance costs, characteristics that make them ideal for family farming. Tractors such as the G40, R50, R65, U60 and Plus80 , five models and eight versions with and without cabin, are especially popular among small producers, as they combine power with versatility, being suitable for a variety of tasks, from soil preparation to harvesting and transporting loads.
“These producers generally have more than one activity on their property, so that it provides sources of income from different products and crops. That is why the company offers tractors in its portfolio that perfectly meet the needs of these producers,” says LS Tractor’s marketing manager, Astor Kilpp. He emphasizes that the G40 , for example, comes from the factory with all the technological features that characterize and highlight LS Tractor products. The smallest turning radius in its category (55º), 12×12 transmission with synchronized forward and reverse inverter (Syncro Shuttle) ensuring greater agility and speed in operations, super reducer, adjustable hydrostatic steering providing better ergonomics and excellent ground clearance. The 3-cylinder LS diesel engine with Tier3 technology reduces CO² emissions and delivers high fuel economy.
The U60 , the SUV of agricultural tractors, is a unique tractor in its category, with a 4-cylinder LS engine with 65 hp and Tier3 technology, LS transmission with 32 speed options for work and synchronized forward and reverse reverse, PTO with 3 rotation options (540, 750 and 1000 rpm), armored front axle and the smallest turning radius in the category (3.25 m). The cabin is original from the factory.
with high comfort standards. “It is a machine designed for small family farmers who seek operational performance, comfort and fuel economy”, says the manager. The R50 , in turn, is a 50 horsepower model and is equipped with a 4-cylinder LS engine, LS transmission with 32 speed options, quality and technology that only LS Tractor offers for this market segment, it is compact and very efficient for work in restricted areas such as inside a poultry house to beat the litter after removing a batch of chickens.
The Plus 80 will deliver all of the same features as the previous models, adding more power with a 4-cylinder Perkins engine. “All of these models deliver the best in performance and economy, tractors designed to meet the diverse needs of a family farm,” says marketing manager and producer Astor Kilpp.
Rice and fruit growing – Launched at this year’s Agrishow, the narrow MT7 model is an excellent solution for the fruit growing sector or other perennial crops that have reduced spacing between planting lines. Developed based on demand from Brazilian farmers and approved by engineering departments in Brazil and the parent company in South Korea, the new series was designed to deliver more torque (power), which defined the choice of four (04) cylinder Perkins engines with 80 and 93hp, MAR1/Tier3 technology, with low noise and lower vibration characteristics.
“That’s a lot of power in a compact model,” Kilpp points out, adding that they have 16% more engine torque than their competitors, 43% more torque reserve and 19% more power available at the PTO , according to comparative data from technical publications cited by the manufacturers . “These characteristics define this project as the model with the greatest power and excellent fuel consumption ratio,” emphasizes the marketing manager.
The H series are tractors with medium/heavy-duty characteristics, ideal for the extreme work conditions typical of rice farming. They are robust and have the operational aggressiveness required for this activity. “In general, most tractors used in this activity have around 120 hp. We offer two options on the market, the H125 and the H145 , which meet the demands of rice producers very well,” highlights Kilpp. According to him, the LS Tractor has the exact combination of the best technology, robustness and operational sustainability, which makes these machines a reliable and affordable choice for producers of different sizes looking to increase the efficiency and profitability of their operations.
