MEC Radio program will air this Sunday (9/8), at 12:30 pm

The Conversa com o Autor program   that  Rádio MEC  will air this Sunday (8), at 12:30 pm, presents an unprecedented chat with the poet André Luiz Pinto. In the interview, the guest talks about his trajectory in literature and the relationship between the various books he has published.

During the public broadcaster’s program, hosted by Katy Navarro, André Luiz highlights the creative process and how difficult it is to define “poetic creation” based on the reading of each poem produced. He talks about some texts whose verses are born from his own experiences or from observations he made of others and himself. The author from Rio de Janeiro also talks about the pains and pleasures of being a poet and the possibility of bringing poetry to more readers through new technologies.

André Luiz Pinto da Rocha’s most recent work is “The Guru” (2023). He has also published, among others, the books “Flor à beira” (1999), “Primeiro de abril” (2004), “Isto” (2005), “Ao léu” (2007), “Terno novo” (2012), “Nós, os dinosauros” (2016), “Migalha” (2019), and “Balanço, poemas reunidos” (1990-2020). His poems also served as the theme for the films “André Luiz Pinto, esse sou eu” (André Luiz Pinto, esse sou eu) and “Autobiographies of poetic and political events”, from 2019, by Alberto Pucheu.
